I cannot say for certain what happened to Megumi, save for the fact that we found only his head, but Vi was at least attacked - there was a pair of scissors driven into her neck.

I've heard nothing of who might have been responsible - I hesitate to point fingers before we even have truly seen their remains or the scene itself beyond the destruction, but I question if he knows something we do not.
